I am sharing the basic house planning principles. Consult your architect to incorporate these in you home plan. We practice the same as “Vastu-Shastra” in India.

1.Make the room approx 2:3 ratio-This not only makes the room look good, but improves the flexibility in usage
2.Try to consolidate doors-Try to bunch all the doors-from other rooms, external and internal-so that you have continuous furniture keeping space,
3. Alternate side windows-on opposite walls are the best-to create cross ventilation and health.
4.Kitchen Location-Should be opposite to prevailing wind direction.
5.Toilet Location-Should be away from kitchen and preferably on the cross wind corners.
6.L-shaped, long and irregular rooms impair the functionality of the house. Please consult your architect.
7.Try to scribble movable routes from room to room for all and ask your architect to minimize the circulation area.
8.Divide the house into 3 zones-Public, family and private. 1 & 3 should be exclusive.

We do not create gothams
We do not sing money’s secrets

You can think of man days we put in
Flying like a sea gull on the shore

Take two somersaults
Then dive into hard dash wells

Ship is single
Deeps mingle

We think 3D

Some think that Architecture is drawing 4 lines!
Engineers say where to put 4 lines

Don’t suggest solutions! That’s what architect is for. He analyzes what owner want realizingly & else and whether the owner is clear in his thinking?

Architect sees where not to put the lines
He thinks of the sun and wind and beeline services
He thinks about room relationships and exclusions
He thinks of your lifestyle and hands you your future

Give him a budget!!!
He contemplates before drawing that very first line by pencil
He realizes the line chisels the owner’s destiny
He cuts corners by oblique lines & extracts the want of curved lines

Sketch Designs: We are renowned to identify & analyze site environment and chalk out vastu with perfect proportions, mass and void balance keeping in view peripheral spaces. We combine whole to part and part to whole methods. We add value by maximizing the usable area through functional zoning and collation.

Permit Documents: Inked Legitimate Drawings without ambiguity. Proper approval within stipulated parameter. Sketch to be perfectly finalized before application. Best utilization within parameters. Climate responsive projection optimization.

Working Drawings: Optimized structural safety grid line & deep beam systems. Balance economy and Functional utility of Windows with climatic responsiveness. Optimize transit cost by beelining nodes. . Easy understanding of the contractor by self-explanatory drawings.

Future is not what we empower, it is what we really dream. And direct communication channels.

Our roads are like our nerves, so let’s make them smooth like a river. Let’s make them moving-Much like our conveyors and let them stop naturally like in a portal. Won’t it save fuel? On segregation portal, we need to work hard on comforting defined level of commuters like the above. This can be started by designing nodes.

Let these accelerate & brake in the physics governs us: Distance vs displacement:Speed vs velocity. What for we commute has to be understood in depth, it maybe a emergency or just a cool holiday. Much like the curves we design & program.

Coming to where these transit zones are located. Obviously on connected crests-no farms, no floods and better interconnectivity. Orient these avoiding head on sun making the solar collection on greater area.
