Hunting for a nice property. Don’t decide by just an amazing appearance.

Where? Which town & colony? Very tough decision indeed.

Narrow plots-not good. Why-as compared to wider counterparts, even without a side alley, lose a lot of space in circulation. Go in for a lesser area but wider plots. Pooling in a house dividing into condos is a great idea!

Finishes and specifications-Ensure the previous owner provides a list of certified specifications and completion documents besides other legal documents. Consult technocrats.

See how well it gets the winter sun in and summer out. Renting and leasing such properties would be less frustrating so more $. Avoid houses shrouded in north-sloping notches.

Try properties with clubbed services and utilities like toilets and kitchens etc. Separate wet areas have lesser maintainable costs.

Try buying framed structures instead of load bearing if you are planning a alteration next 10 years for duplex or rentals etc.

Feel the air inside. Also ensure that it is not such way that water could possible creep in during heavy rains. People do forget this crucial aspect.

Have a feedback from the previous owner /tenent about what problems he faced.

Specially, the bedrooms shouldn’t face a road or rail traffic or airplane noise. Also avoid those properties with cross roads in a way that vehicular headlights fall on windows.

See the details, should not have ant, mole hills etc.

See the potential of surrounding plots and if it can be projected into a holiday resort etc.

{July 15, 2008} $ on roof

There’s money up on the roof by ZDNet’s Heather Clancy — I’ve reported here before about the eyebrow-raising percentage of operations costs that telecommunications companies spend on energy. After all, their business is centered on providing services through massive data centers and they are directly affected by rising energy costs. It stands to reason, then, that some of these companies are taking matters into their own [...]

{July 14, 2008} A positive and motivating Architecture

It is the need of the hours to govern the future architects. A new style, the logic-redefined and new ways of construction-all are morphing in to redefine architecture.

Totally from a nanochip to earthmatrix-architecture starts where all knowledges and technologies end. So we envision the future and the future is….great.

The new-biz of info-inno-inve-share should be blogging with mind mapping. Core of the write-ups and blogs should be sequentially and diagrammatically assigned in degree of nearness, ranking or Fibonacci sequence. Your trust & friends, your cores, your constraints, your customizations-all having different and related directional matrices each a different stor(e)y. Or maybe a sphere. Then your wonder would be how early the whole world is one.

Communication major dimensions scheme

While phones are good for personal level communication. Split second decisions may not be a good choice to put the memory into pressure. We need a interactive voice/text based communication system which transits the probabilistic responsive hours on the daily needs of individual with curves on address books.

Suppose one is moving near his car, so responsiveness should reduce in curved form on approaching so that a caller doesn’t disturb before driving or any related activity.

Communication should be broken down into combination of voice-text format and decisions conveying time limit depending on resposiveness should be listed there.

Addresses and identities of callers should be verified before the very first call is received.

I think this would de-clutter and enhance the collective performances whether with an individual or an organization.

{June 15, 2008} An old legend says
The Great Blessing of Waters on the Neva River during Epiphany.

Image via Wikipedia

A competition was organized between two groups-demons(asuras) and angels(devatas). The elbow of every member was stiffened with a stick and amrit(holy water) was put in the hands of everyone and asked to drink it.

Demons tried the whole day; but how could they drink it without bending their elbow in order to bring their palms near their mouth. So everyone raised the hand and spilled the amrit.

Angels just took one minute. They offered the water to their fellow mates and everybody became immortal.

So, my resolution is to give. So let’s live long :-)
